MCB Quantico Traffic Advisory
****REMINDER** Due to the suspension of trusted traveler procedures at MCB Quantico, all adults entering the base must present an authorized access token for scanning at the gate. Valid authorized access tokens include DOD ID, DBIDS token or pass, Federal PIV or any driver’s license previously associated in DBIDS by the MCBQ visitor center.
To facilitate traffic flow, have IDs/passes for all occupants ready when arriving at the gate. Arrive early and expect delays during peak traffic periods.

Not only do we work to preserve County-owned historic sites, we work with community partners and descendant communities to preserve all of Prince William County history.
Earlier this week, several members of the Office of Historic Preservation staff worked with staff from the Marine Corps Base at Quantico to film a series of history videos on Prince William County history that are now within the boundaries of the base. Stay tuned for those videos to be posted on our YouTube Channel soon!

📣 Starting Monday, May 18 - 22, CSX Transportation will be closing the railroad crossing on Henderson Rd.
🚧 The work includes track replacement and performing maintenance on the crossings.
🛑 There will be no vehicle use of the crossings during these closure dates.

💪 Bravo Zulu to the Department of War Education Activity school motivators, including our own @dodeaquanticomhs and DOWEA Crossroads Elementary who ran, pushed and pulled their way through the Presidential Fitness Test at Butler Stadium at Marine Corps Base Quantico today!
💪 The Presidential Fitness Test consists of three fitness components that are designed to strengthen health, physical fitness, resilience, and establish lifelong healthy habits.
💪 The PFT also recognizes multiple levels of achievements, including the Presidential Fitness Award, National Fitness Award, Completion recognition and improvement.

From 5:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m on Tuesday, 12 May, BPAC will be on unmanned hours (open) and the BPAC parking lot will be closed.
HITT Center and Butler Stadium will also be closed from 5:00 a.m. - 3:00 also on 12 May.
