Nurses are at the heart of healthcare 💙
This International Nurses Day, we’re looking back at the NurseAI Hackathon, where MCAST Institute Of Applied Sciences nursing students worked together to develop AI-driven solutions for real healthcare challenges alongside academics and industry partners. It is a glimpse into the innovation, collaboration, and future-focused thinking shaping tomorrow’s healthcare professionals.

Mother’s Day is about the love, care, and guidance of those who nurture us and help us grow.
Today, we celebrate all the mothers, guardians, and mother figures who have helped shape who we are. #mcast #mothersday
The mobility visit in March to TP DES in Singapore, in collaboration with students from the MCAST Institute for the Creative Arts, was one such experience that brought together culture, collaboration, and creativity. Accompanied by Course Coordinators Anna Ancilleri, Darren Duncan, and Dominic Tringali, our students got the opportunity to work within interdisciplinary teams with the goal of producing innovative and impactful design proposals.
As we further merge students and industry into a seamless transition, it's through these opportunities that MCAST helps make your education one that is memorable. #mcast #art #education

A delegation from the Institute of Engineering and Transport - MCAST and The Center for Maritime studies, together with a representative from the Erasmus+ Projects and Mobility Office, visited the Institut Supérieur d’Études Maritimes (ISEM) in Morocco between 20–24 April 2026 as part of the Erasmus+ KA171 programme.
The visit built on a previous exchange and focused on strengthening collaboration, increasing mobility opportunities, and sharing academic best practices. Meetings with ISEM’s management explored future partnerships, while presentations to students highlighted Erasmus+ opportunities and generated strong interest in studying abroad.
The delegation also toured ISEM’s advanced maritime training facilities and participated in industry visits to PortNet in Casablanca and the Port of Tangier, gaining valuable insight into logistics and port operations.
The mobility was highly successful, reinforcing MCAST’s international partnerships and creating new opportunities for student and staff exchanges.
We were delighted to host Industry on Campus at MCAST, bringing a wide range of industries on campus to connect students with real apprenticeship opportunities. We’re already looking forward to welcoming them again.
