On this day 7 years ago, my mother went home to be with King Jesus forever ♾️ That was the day I woke up... At first it felt like dream. A very bad dream... But as things started to unravel, day by day, I realized that a part of my life was over, and I will NEVER get it back. That reality hit like a Tsunami. I was overwhelmed with grief, but I kept it hidden... There are still days I wake up, look at this picture hanging on my wall (slide 3) and mourn the life I lost. The life I could have had. She didn’t get to meet my husband and she’s never going to meet my children... My heart breaks at the thought... everyday 💔❤️‍🩹 So many things I didn’t get to say, childish hurts l held in my heart (against her) that mean absolutely nothing now... l’d kill for a hug from her right now, a word of advice, in fact, it doesn’t have to be a word, any sound would do 😭 This is a pain I’m going to have to live with for the rest of my life. I miss you so much Mama 🥹 If your mum is still here, love her like your life depends on it, cherish her like rare treasure... Because you don’t know how long you have.
