Sometimes we move through life without truly seeing the strength & depth of who we are.
It’s taken me 30 years & 10 years of chasing my dreams, to pause & really recognize the person I’ve become. I see the determination & love I pour into everything. I see my strengths, & just as importantly, my weaknesses.
I finally feel like I’m looking at my life from a new perspective & I’m damn proud of where I stand. I’ve done things my 20 year old self never thought possible… & I know I’m capable of even more than I realize.
Someone recently told me, “You’ll never have a ceiling.”
& I’m ready to live in that statement. 🤍✨🥹🕺

𝕷𝖊𝖙 𝖌𝖔 𝖆𝖓𝖉 𝖑𝖊𝖙 𝖘𝖜𝖆𝖒𝖕 🧟 I’m on 100+ whatever number of music events at this point & most productions say they are unique. So when I heard Spirit Lake was special, I said, yes of course whatever you say, but I didn’t expect the swamp to capture my heart quite as it did. Not once did I set foot out of Spirit Lake the whole festival with the amount of insane talent, activations, & installs there.
Spirit Lake holds a level of connectivity between crew, install, performer, & guests that made me fall in love with festival work in the first place. So many pockets for connection filled with people who wanted to play & artists who spoke out about atrocities in this country through uninhibited creativity. I am beyond grateful for the opportunity to have contributed to this swampy dream in October as Performance Director. Thankful for the opportunity to get darker, get weirder, to haunt with creatures in nature.
