So proud of this boy ❤️ A year ago we threw Griff in the deep end having only had him for 3 weeks out of a life in the valley in Wales. Barely any chance to school, very stop start but a willingness to take on whatever you asked and completely fearless. We struggled through it and missed out in the final. But I couldn’t have asked more of him he was brilliant. Fast forward to last weekend, a different horse, collected, eager, fierce and ready to smash! 💥 Did not think for a second we would make the final I’ll admit but he proved me wrong and showed just how world class he is! ❤️ Proper team effort from @lizdc_stunts @mc_dc_stunts @sit_amongst_the_trees & @heathcote.equine myself gentleman working on his schooling throughout the year 💪💪💪 Thanks to @heeley.josh for the epic photos! #horse #lovehorses #jousting #armour #battlehorse

Two time Queen’s Jubilee Horn Individual Jousting Champion! Royal Armouries Easter International Jousting Tournament 2026, what a literal tornado! All seasons mixed with extreme wind, rain, hail, and occasional sunshine. But brought together some of the finest jousters and incredible people in the world to cross lances in the world’s only Royally Sanctioned Jousting Tournament. An honour to ride and compete with @emmajoust @ajppeixoto @kurvola Adam and Jaccub A huge congratulations to Team Poland on their well deserved win in the Team Grand Final (Sword Of Honour) they were super consistent all weekend and we had some huge hits! Congratulations also to @kurvola on winning the Chivalry Prize! This has been one of the hardest tournaments I’ve ever competed at, tight competition, young horse, supplying 3 horses, shite whether and a migraine to top off the Individual & Grand Final. All worth it for the end result and seeing stands sold out! Absolutely wouldn’t have gotten through it without the support of @lizdc_stunts who not only squired for me but also managed to mange having three horses in two shows a day (definitely not paid enough 😂) After last year it was incredible to ride Griff again however challenging it was, he is an absolute fire cracker of a jousting horse and really put me to work, stupidly proud of him! Thanks to @andy.deane2 @royalarmouriesmuseum Tristan @ellus_jayus1 @richard.thirlwall @mrperry_145 @indiamckenzie @gordonsummers David and the rest of the Armouries Crew for having me for another year and for putting on a fantastic event! @the_galloping_time_traveller thank you again for helping with Griff. Getting to ride Storm into the Arundel International Arena to be inducted into the Order Of Arundel back in 2022 The Arundel International Jousting Tournament is one of the most coveted competitions to win in the World. Jousters from around the globe come to do win the Chain and Team Championship. Having done three years of this competition in the past (2019, 2022 and 2023 for the Champion Of Champions) the only way to describe it is pressure cooker! Impossible to win without a support team behind you and I was lucky enough to have @lizdc_stunts and @gilko96 behind me all the way for this tournament ❤️ Thanks to @arwphotographyhistorical for this epic throwback!

I’ve been planning to get some images with the theme of the film “12 Strong” for a while now (if you’ve not seen it check it out, it’s class !!) and it was awesome to finally realise it thanks to @mikecollin_stunts and @lizdc_stunts plus a team of fantastic photographers. Big up Bags at @barearmsfilm for the advice and intel on the costume and rig details, and @marjfreestone @heeley.josh @haider_photos for some absolutely outstanding photos!
