I see people write under their posts last night was like a movie and I always think bless up that you enjoyed yourself but it’s not a term that I use on a regular basis however, if I do say so myself last night at Ministry Of Sound for me was a F’in Movie on a genuine real flex. Future events @thefutureldn ain’t messing around 💯 I’ve known Martin for years now but this was the first set we done together but I’ve seen him play out at many a set/venue and he always smashes it and I can’t tell you how gassed I am to have done this set with him on the main stage at Ministry Of Sound Last night 😳😳😳 I definitely owe him some drinks or something because this was my best set ever on the main stage at its peak at Ministry Of Sound. THIS IS WHAT I GOT UP TO IN 2024, A MONTAGE OF MY YEAR. I started as MC Adefila at around 14/15 years old back in the days of Pirate radio way before internet radio when they used to set up the station in a different location each week. Some times in a block of flats or above a shop and even in abandoned warehouses. I can already hear people saying The GOAT? Who does he think he is, he’s a bit full of himself for a nobody 🤔🥱🤣 but… Although I vanished for 5 plus years and constantly dipped in and out of the game, strayed back to Hiphop and Grime you best believe that I’ve put a good 30 years of work and effort into being an MC. I put all my eggs in the UKG basket this year and went all out but I unfortunately don’t feel like I had a great deal of luck despite my efforts. At the start of this year I said to myself I wanted to start doing events again and I believe I’ve managed to do just that however the scene just isn’t the same as it was when I used to do events in my early 20’s. Either way I had a fantastic time and met a bag of fantastic people along the way, many of whom I now consider good friends of mine. I’m not giving up but I do believe my focus needs to shift in 2025 a little. I’ve got a 4 track EP on the way with 3 tracks produced by Midas and a remix by another producer and I’ve already started working on my MC Adefila EP too, however once these two projects are completed I’m going hell for leather and jumping back into the Grime scene. Very excited to announce that my latest single The GOAT will be out at the start of the New Year. More details will be posted soon ASAP.
