Entry to the "Far East Elegance" category of Brickscalibur 2023. I had a lot more plans for Brickscalibur this year… unfortunately things got in the way, and I ended up doing pretty much doing nothing for the entire first two months. I wanted to at least get a single entry in this year; and given the fact that I only worked on this build for about 2 weeks, I am incredibly happy with the final product. Huge thanks to Kit as well, who gave me a hand with the edits

Wizard Tower Ambush 🧙‍♂️ Built for the Brickscalibur Rogues and Outlaws category. This build was a lot of fun to make! I also have to give a big thank you to @_danthefan , @kitkat1414_ , @legomodularfan , @legofordo , @hubba_blooba , @_thankthelegomaker_ , all of who gave me great advice and help throughout the build. Thank you!

Fallen Kingdoms: Forestmen Worthwood Built by @francis.design_ @mbricks52 and @brickopotamus — an @empirelug collaboration Planned for over a year, and mostly built in about 3 months; the final build measured in at over 25in in depth and nearly 13ft in length. The project was displayed at BrickfairVA Nova 2024. I don’t think we could be more proud of how this build came together in the end. Throughout the planning months there was endless coordinating of the style, layout, and design of the whole build. At the con we spent much of the three setup days getting our builds finished. Lots of the smaller details like foliage and figs were all added on-site. We also had all ten of the large trees that needed completing; all us had left the tree foliage as something to be done at the convention 😅. Each of our sections was sponsored in part by many Bricklink orders from our LUG leader himself, @shopblainesworld
A big thanks goes to the many friends at the con for all the help during the final stretch of setup; and an especially huge thanks to @si_mocs who so generously loaned some of his lights (from the magnificent Halo collab) for us to use!! We really couldn’t have done it without all the support. In no particular order, the amazing people that gave us help and support during the week: @kitkat1414_ @_thankthelegomaker_ @si_mocs @_adorier @aleck.builds @hubba_blooba @brick_guild @lavish_bricks @legomodulexfan @the_lego_closet @batuubricks @benthebrickbuilder @brickbuilderstudios @brickproductions @shopblainesworld @vexillbuilds To all who voted for us in the Fallen Kingdoms competition, thank you and we appreciate the support! It was a tight race that came down to just a couple votes against the admirable Black Falcons in the final round! Our build also ended up winning Biggest and Bestest at the con, which is pretty cool as well 🙃 Finally, please go and check out the other amazing builds from Fallen Kingdoms! You can find more pictures and all the other builders on the @empirelug page.

The Shire The last build I did for Rogue Olympics in April of last year. I had so much fun with each of the builds. I did eight in total, but the four I’ve posted here were definitely my favorites. (The other builds are up on my Flickr if you’re interested.) An actually new build will be out this weekend!

Chained in the Sky I’ve really been neglecting this app lol. This is a build from April… made a few weeks after my last post, also for Rogue Olympics (built with under 101 pieces). I have new things coming out, and need things to be contiguous on my feed. Expect a few more posts over the next week.

Floating in the Clouds A build from the 2023 Rogue Olympics: A challenge to try and use less than 101 pieces. The weekly prompt was “Above the Clouds”, and the whole thing is only 92 pieces. I’m finally getting around to posting these from Flickr onto Instagram haha.

Castle on the Shore Built this for the “Fantasy Heights” category of Summer Joust 2023. It took pretty much the entire two months to complete, but I’m incredibly happy with how it’s turned out! I was also lucky enough to transport the build to Brickfair Virginia last week, where it actually won best Castle/Knights at the convention!
