Stopped by Mathias custom VW shop in Grindsted to check out his personal ride.
His car began life as a 2014 Mk7 1.4 TSI Golf, but it hardly resembles anything of its former self.
So much attention to detail has gone into this build with a full custom body kit and paint job, widened fenders, air bag suspension and a fully re-trimmed interior incorporating those amazingly snug CS Recaro seats. A huge big brake kit is about to be installed, so super keen to see the finished result at Ultrace 2025.

🟣 BOOM 🟣
A couple weeks ago I needed a car to model for a separate shoot, so I put the word out to the Denmark car community.
I said whoever was up for helping me out, I’d return the favour with a proper feature shoot.
I expected a few messages, but the post got shared around more than I thought and within a couple days it connected me with some seriously wild builds. I didn’t expect to end up with one of the craziest Golf builds in Europe. 😈
So after the original shoot, we went out to shoot rollers and stopped in the forest for some stills.
It felt so good being back in it.
Perfect timing too with Squadball Rally 2026 coming up.
Automotive shooting was one of the first things I really fell in love with, and jumping back into rollers reminded me pretty quickly that it’s still in my blood.
Got to loosen up, play around with shutter speed, and came away with a few risky 1/6s shots that turned out nasty nice.
Threw some BTS clips at the end of the carousel too so you can see how a few of these shots came together 👀
