“What?! You’re running 100 kms? But why? Are you mad? And you actually *pay* to do this to yourself?” **All noises.** There are some things words can never capture - emotions, self-reflection, and discipline speak their own language. For me, that language has always been running. Especially these ultra runs. People often tell me: “you’re young, focus on shorter distances, get faster.” And while I completely respect that, this journey was never about speed, medals, or PBs. It’s something far more personal. It started as *me vs. me* - and it continues to be that way. Running from 10 kms to now preparing for 100 - it’s not for the world. It’s a conversation between my mind and my willpower. Those early mornings. Those lonely streets. Those silent battles when you choose to keep going. They’ve shaped me in ways I can’t put into words. They remind me what the human body - and more importantly, the human mind - is capable of when aligned with purpose. Every run, every small habit, every decision to show up - it all becomes a lesson I carry beyond the miles and into life itself. Grateful for this sport that keeps teaching, grounding, and humbling me. And to everyone I’ve crossed paths with on this journey - you make it all the more special. Here’s to respecting the road, enjoying the process, and learning along the way. 100 kms - not for glory, but for growth✨ Thank you all for who were there and who made this happen (both in person and in spirit) 🩵 #thehellrace #ultramarathon #border100 #notfortheweakofwill

White Sand Ultra - 2025 | March 22-23 A true test of my grit, which I proudly failed. Signed up for my first ever 100 km race and a first Hell Race race event, while having my own doubts, right up until the start line. Ergo the race in itself had some other plans. The weather and geography humbled me massively, stopped me at the 50km mark and taught me some sweet lessons (not just for running, but for life). I've come to terms with everything that went wrong and have made my peace with it. While this DNF feels bad, it also becomes a commitment for me to come back stronger in 2026. Huge congratulations to the person I look up to the most when it comes to long distance running @bhawana_datta , your resilience is a pinnacle that I someday hope to achieve! And another huge congratulations to my 'Mandir Marg' buddy @rakovkirpal for thrashing the 100 miler course in such conditions! Respect! 🫡 BIB #1035 shall be back to finish the unfinished! 💪

April 30th has now officially become a permanent fixture in my heart. It marks exactly 1 year since I moved to Mumbai after 6 years of Delhi...a move that serendipitously falls right on @mithilanasa 's birthday! A double celebration called for a heavy hitter, so the two of us landed at @thebombaycanteen ! Told the team it was my "Mumbai-versary" and a special birthday, and the folks absolutely delivered. From a beautifully crafted food menu to cocktails that hit the spot, every bit lived up to the hype! Ended the night with a beautiful gesture from the staff, a complimentary dessert to help us celebrate the day. The folks really proved their own tagline right: It’s a Good Day to Bombay! ✨️

March - Almost 3 months down. From ending last year with a 100K ultra to running a marathon with family and taking a much-needed reset, partying, chilling and a bit of running here n there- 490 kms in 70 days feels like a strong start...But “strong” isn’t the goal for 2026. "Ye dil maange more" This time, “more” isn’t just about chasing a bigger mileage; it’s about the cumulative build. The kind that happens quietly. Consistently. Intentionally. Locking myself in for another training block leading up to a mid-distance ultra in a terrain very close to my heart, but this time with a holistic effort rather than giving myself some excuses, and hoping to continuing that for the new goals set for myself later this year. I’ve been a long-time follower of @yestheory and one idea from their journey has stayed with me: your best self lives on the other side of what you’re avoiding. We grow when we 'Seek Discomfort' - not just in the miles we love, but in the grind we conveniently skip... for many going to the gym is routine - for me its a f***kin torture and thats my Discomfort I intend to overcome! The non-negotiable for this phase: No more skipping strength training. Pretty sure most runners here are guilty of this - even though we all know deep down it’s the missing link to running stronger, longer, and better. (Relate?) The rule: 2 compulsory strength sessions per week. No excuses. No more “I’ll lift tomorrow.” Tomorrow is here. This year isn’t about dramatic mileage spikes or flashy numbers. It’s about discipline. Consistency. And learning to stay uncomfortable in the workouts I usually avoid. Let’s see what these next weeks of no-excuse work looks like 🤞

Hey @tatamummarathon - Look I got my dad and uncle to experience your vibes this time 😀 It's one thing to do a full marathon, altogether a different feeling and an emotion, to be doing it with someone who is running theIr own FIRST full marathon, more so, when it's your own family... Shall Truly cherish this moment!💙 🎥 edit: @mithilanasa @alvin.antu.547 & @amplifive.co [Running, Tata Mumbai Marathon, Family, Runners, Marathon]

Just a guy who runs a lot... sometimes fast, mostly slow." That’s been a bio on my profile for a while, but 2026 decided to start a little further on the "faster" side of things. I’ve spent the last few months deeply into the long-distance grind, focusing on miles over minutes and I honestly thought I’d forgotten what "speed" felt like. But the Powai 10k hoardings had been staring me in the face every single day for months during my daily runs. It felt like a sign which I kept ignoring until the very last second. Even though I missed the online window, I decided to test my luck with a last-minute spot registration. Going in, I wasn't sure if the legs presently had that 'Personal Best' spark, but I set a mental goal of a sub-50 min 10K. To my absolute surprise, the energy of my neighborhood and the pleasent weather took over. I didn't just hit the goal—I ended up ranking 28th out of almost 1,500 runners...A massive confidence boost to kick off the year and a reminder that the fitness is right where it needs to be. But honestly? The highlight of the morning wasn't my chip time. It was seeing @mithilanasa at the start line for her very first 4K run 🩵 She might claim she only registered under my "influence," but seeing her show up and put in the work for her first official event was the real win of the day. It’s one thing to chase a PB, it’s another thing to share the road with someone starting their own journey..2026, I’m loving the energy so far. To many more finish lines, many more speed runs and plenty more "influence" moments.
