Italian Nonna meets Nonna from India 🇮🇹🇮🇳
This Nonna from India left a career as a business professor to open the most reviewed, Michelin restaurant in all of LA… and she personally visits every single table to make sure you feel it.
We FaceTimed Nonna back home and turns out these two cultures aren’t so different. Two grandmothers from completely different worlds who both built their lives around feeding the people they love and both love “tocio” — dunking bread in sauce. Some things are universal.
So, what would Nonna say? 🇮🇹🇮🇳 @mindykaling

We were delighted to welcome actor @sivakarthikeyan to Mayura. His warm presence and humble nature added great jot to our team and guests. It was an honour to host him, and his visit truly made the day special for everyone at Mayura .

Yall know how I feel about family owned restaurants that serve authentic delicious cuisine!
MUST GET:
Pakora — the best I’ve ever had. (Also reheats so well the next day)
chicken biryani - the flavor is actual insane.
Fish curry — richest curry I’ve ever had.
Also their mango lassi is BANANAS (well, mango 🥭)
I’ve had the privilege of eating here a few times and EVERYTHING is phenomenal. Indian food is so special to me, it shows how brilliant maximalism can be — & each dish here has AT LEAST 9 spices!
