MAYUDEPTH DJ and producer based in Tokyo. She released her 1st EP “Sneakpeek” on DJ SHUFFLEMASTER’s label Shiki Kyokai, followed by her second EP “Angels from Hell”, which features film director Umi Ishihara. As a producer, she has gained recognition in the global dance music scene, releasing music in recent years on labels such as Los Angeles’s ACID CAMP and Berlin’s A7A. In terms of DJing, MAYUDEPTH moves beyond techno, navigating an extensive archive and contemporary sounds to experiment with diverse beats and grooves, creating a tough and profound sonic world. Based in Tokyo, she has performed at a wide range of venues, from major clubs and underground scenes in Europe, Asia, and the U.S. to open-air festivals such as Rainbow Disco Club. Recently, she appeared as a guest at “Psssh Records x African Acid Is The Future” at OHM in Berlin. Her energetic and seamless mixing style has garnered a global following, with appearances on radio shows and platforms worldwide. She is also a key curator in Tokyo's club culture, leading "MOTORPOOL," a major force in Japan's queer scene, and "VITAL," focused on innovative dance music. She continues to explore electronic dance music with an adventurous and open-minded approach.

It was an honor to be part of @pssshrecords x @africanacidisthefuture party at @ohmberlin !! So much energy, warmth, and amazing music and dancers all night. Everything felt so pure and beautiful. I was able to play relaxed, mixing tracks from the archives as well as the latest releases, and I think my set went well too! However, in recent years, the emphasis on being a “safe space” has perhaps gone too far, and it feels as though something of the edge and excitement has been lost. A club needs a certain sense of unpredictability—those fleeting encounters and reunions that last only a night, and the exhilaration of losing yourself in music in the darkness. It is not merely a form of entertainment culture, but a space where people gather to escape the violence of the state and capital, to resist oppressive social structures, and to talk, empathize, and love one another. The dance floor itself is sacred. Creating an environment where everyone can safely immerse themselves in dance gives rise to the purest form of communication and a positive cycle. With the aim of creating such a “miracle” in the local underground scene, “iNNiT” was launched. This time, it will deliver a deep and intense night featuring only local DJs. クラブは本来アウトサイダーの避難所であり、社会や権力のマイノリティが最も輝ける場所だ。しかし近年、「セーフ・スペース」であることが強調されすぎ、どこか刺激を失ってしまった様にも感じる。クラブには何が起きるかわからない少しの危うさ、一夜だけの出会いや再会、そして暗闇の中で音楽に没頭する高揚が必要だ。それは単なる娯楽産業としてのカルチャーではなく、国家や資本の暴力から逃れ、抑圧的な社会構造に対して争う人々が集い、語らい、共感し合い、愛し合う場所である。フロアーこそが聖地であり、誰もが安全に踊りに没頭できる環境を作ることが、最も純粋なコミュニケーションと良い循環を生み出すのだ。 そんなローカルアンダーグラウンドの「ミラクル」を生み出すために、始動した「iNNiT」。 今回は深く熱い一夜をローカルDJのみで届ける。 ・このパーティは、ジェンダー/セクシュアリティ/人種/年齢などにかかわらず、オープンで他者と寄り添う気持ちのある全ての方を歓迎します。但し、排外主義を含む全ての差別主義者とシオニストの入場を固くお断りします。 ・This party welcomes all who are open and willing to connect with others, regardless of gender/sexuality/race/age.
