It is an honor to announce that I’ve been selected to be a student commencement speaker at Massbay’s commencement ceremony! I struggled greatly to get through school and have battled many personal challenges over the years, but I am proud to have proven to myself that I can continue my higher education while simultaneously healing and becoming stronger. With the support of my friends, family, and everyone at Massbay, I was able to develop an unwavering sense of self-assurance and willpower towards progress.
Thanks to the innovative vision of Massbay’s administration, we were able to put an exciting spin on the traditional commencement speech by having three student speakers virtually alongside each other, sharing our unique yet perfectly harmonious stories together. The greatest privilege of this experience was working with Ashley Osmecki and Dinora Torres, two absolutely phenomenal women who have left an impactful mark on the school and will continue to inspire me long after our Massbay journey. I can’t wait for their stories of strength and diligence to be heard, it is an honor to be representing the class of 2021 with such inspiring individuals. Although we did not know each other before this experience, we have been united by a common thread of perseverance and determination. I’m beyond excited to watch our commencement speech on May 27th and see everything we’ve worked on finally come together! Congratulations Ashley and Dinora, and congratulations to everyone for powering through these difficult times🎆🎉❤️🎊🎇
