The year was 2011...
I got an email for an editorial cover brief from @debolalagos for the next issue of @ynaija magazine.
I was super stoked to know who my next client was... Nervous but over the moon as I had less than 5 days to create 5 incredible looks.
I called my girl @yolandaokereke to assist me in creating what I knew would be a timeless piece of art, we went straight to work, got on set that faithful Wednesday to @kelechiamadiobi studio. We went over each outfit and the story it would tell, and 48 hours later, it was a wrap!!
Ladies and gentlemen, 14 years later... these were the final outcome.... I still gush over these images till date, with a high level of gratitude to have worked with an icon and a legend THE ONE, and ONLY GENEVIEVE NNAJI!!

A major goal we needed to achieve while capturing and telling a style story of the Queen @officialwaje , was to curate an editorial experience and feel to the images. And so the wardrobe curation, makeup, hair styling , poses had to reflect that editorial feel .

True story is we had planned to have this shoot in Lagos but somethings happened and it became a virtual shoot with me in Lagos and waje being in abuja, lol. Whatever style story is to be told, distance can never be a barrier. Working with the best creative team is everything!!
