El Segundo has been central to the toy industry for more than 50 years! We welcomed the Toy Association and they let us help open the Toy Building. El Segundo has more than 200 toy companies and they are central to our creative economy. Thank you to Toy Association, Newmark, and everyone that made this happen!
Los Angeles, a proud exurb of greater El Segundo, will host a consulate from India! Thrilled to join the US-India Business Council for an evening celebrating our economic ties. Mom, I promise they are laughing with me! #laedc #elsegundocity #uschamber #usindiabiz
It’s official! Thank you all very much for your trust and support. The City Clerk announced at last night's council meeting that all ballots are counted and I've been reelected. Elections are acts of trust by a community, to be both your voice and to make decisions on your behalf. I hope to continue to earn it.
I'm grateful for many things, including our local traditions of running positive, relevant, local campaigns. In the face of smothering national debates, Michelle, Ryan, John, and Robin stayed the course of what matters to a city and what is in its scope of responsibility.
All of the support, yard signs, attending meetings, I appreciate them all so much. There were, and are, many sacrifices as well. My family warrants continual thanks for their patience with the absences and endless, "what do you think about. . ." questions at the dinner table.
Lastly, this effort is, in large part due to the initiative, guidance, and professional excellence of Serena Burton @serenaroseburton and Julia Ramirez @marketinghello without whom, I would be nowhere. There are no two finer minds to focus a message and convey it clearly.
Thank you all.

It's time to cast our ballots and so important that we all let our voices be heard.
I want to sincerely thank you for your support and for your willingness to be involved! I've met some of you from working the parking barriers at the Run for Education, at coaching endless soccer, softball, and little league games, building the Fall Festival and taking it down. We've done flags for multi-cultural day, taken down outfield fences, and delivered food during the pandemic.
By voting, El Segundo is doing what we all do best - staying involved, giving our time when we can, and making our city the community that makes it special. I would be honored to be able to continue serving on City Council and to continue the hard and important work we've done together for this community andI humbly ask for your vote tomorrow, November 8th. #pimmyforthecity #citycouncil #Gundo #CityCouncil #gundo #elsegundo #elsegundocitycouncil #votechrispimentel

Chris brings world leading companies and innovators to El Segundo while seamlessly protecting our way of life and small town sensibility. To nurture the future of space and Silicon Beach, to attract the Chargers and L'Oreal, while balancing the needs our residents, takes careful consideration, judgment, and experience. "We've done this throughout my term, and with your trust, I will keep delivering results." - Chris #elsegundocitycouncil #CityCouncil #votechrispimentel #elsegundo #pimmyforthecity #gundo #Gundo #citycouncil
Getting results for smaller cities means understanding the region, working with other cities, and leading regional bodies. Chris leads our region's transportation committee that controls more than a billion dollars of funding. He represents us in 2 sanitation districts and is our delegate to 3 state bodies. We see the results around us in our vibrant economy, feel it in our better roads, and take pride in the problems that we keep at bay. Our city leads because our city works. #Gundo #votechrispimentel #CityCouncil #citycouncil #elsegundocitycouncil #pimmyforthecity #gundo #elsegundo
Don't forget to vote on or before Tuesday, November 8th and then join us at Slice & Pint at 6pm to watch the results roll in! Food and drinks will be provided.

El Segundo thrives on the best ideas from the hardest workers. We work hard to ensure the voices and experiences of everyone aren't overlooked. In June of 2020 an El Segundo High School senior, Madison Kellum, told Mayor Boyles and me about the success of a school in-service day that focused on experiences in the city we may have overlooked. From that meeting, our city's inclusion initiatives were born. Inclusion has always mattered to me.
Elected officials have a responsibility to listen to, and represent, all of our residents. Our strongest and smartest voices of the last century run the gamut of our faiths, ethnicities, genders, and ability levels- and we thrive because we have the courage to listen to them.
