I'm so honored to have my painting featured on the cover of "Practical Neurology" 🧡
When I was diagnosed with MS at age 15, it was difficult to talk to others about my experiences. Art became my way of sharing my story. "Looking at Daisies" depicts how I experience MS-related heat intolerance, with symptoms like muscle weakness, vision issues, and delayed processing. By visualizing the lived experience of MS, I hope to spread MS awareness and advocate for myself and others 🎨

"Breakfast" ✏️ ✍️
Graphite on layered Dura-Lar, 11" x 14"
From my "To-Do List" series, this drawing shares what daily life can feel like with a chronic illness. Navigating stairs while carrying objects can be tricky, and I find that on some days just having breakfast feels like a monumental task.
Just a few days left to see this drawing in person! The Spring Members Exhibition at the Hopkins Center for the Arts is up through this Saturday, 5/16. 🎨

A sneak peek at a new series of paintings 🎨🖌️
I’ve been thinking more about the relationship between my lived experience and my MRI scans. I was a little nervous about painting in only black and white, but it has been super fun 🧡
Exciting updates coming soon!

Another infusion, another 2-hour sketch! ✍️ ✏️
March is MS Awareness Month, and I’ve been reflecting on how much my sense of "normal" has changed since my diagnosis. Infusions and needles were once a source of anxiety, but they have now become a recurring part of my life.
While MS has its challenges, it has taught me how to focus on the positive and to practice patience when things don't go as planned 🧡
I’m looking forward to documenting more of this "normal" through these kinds of sketches, as well as a brand-new series of paintings! Stay tuned! 🎨🖌️

Infusion room sketch! ✏️ ✍️
I switched to #ocrevus this past weekend. The infusion was long, but it gave me just enough time for this drawing! 🧡
