Most athletes come to us with beliefs that are quietly working against them. Here's what's changed for a few of our athletes after joining MPC ๐Ÿ‘†

Most coaching certifications show you the material and send you on their way. Coach Brannen and Coach Jake both come from teaching, so they built the mentorship differently: they model it, do it as a group, then give you feedback. They walk alongside you through the whole process. Four cohorts in, and weโ€™re about to make everything weโ€™ve built available to more coaches, not just in competitive CrossFit, but across performance as a whole. More details coming soon.

Most athletes think nutrition coaching means getting their macros dialed in and calling it a day. But macros are just the starting point. Periodizing your nutrition across your training year, fueling around your sessions, gut health, hydration, supplementation: these are the levels most athletes never get to. EP 052 of the MPC Podcast breaks down the full nutrition hierarchy for competitive CrossFit athletes. Find it linked in our bio ๐Ÿ”—

One of the most common questions we field from athletes is whether prioritizing faith and family comes at a competitive cost. We think it is exactly the wrong way to frame it. Scripture does not call athletes to divide their loyalty between performance and obedience. It calls them to full effort with a surrendered outcome, and that combination produces a freedom most competitors never find.

We talk a lot about principles here, and we hand out methods and frameworks, but rarely do we pull back the curtain and show you how we actually think. That is what this is. Coach Tyler sat down and programmed a full training week for one of his athletes, on camera, in real time. He is one of the rarest people in this sport, having competed at the CrossFit Games as an individual and coached athletes at the elite level, and that combination makes watching him work genuinely instructive. Whether you are a coach who wants to see how elite-level thinking gets applied, or an athlete who wants to understand what actually goes into the decisions being made on your behalf, this one is worth your time. Comment PROGRAM below and we will send it to you!

Somewhere along the way, coaching became synonymous with writing workouts. For a lot of people, that's all it is. At MPC, we coach the whole person: training, nutrition, recovery, and strategy. That last one is the piece most people never see, and it might be the most important one on competition weekend. This is Coach Dom on a pre-comp call with Katie, one of our athletes who just competed at the Magic City Games in the 45-49 female division. Two minutes of what real coaching actually looks like behind the scenes. Congratulations to Katie for competing at semifinals! Qualifying is no small thing, and we're proud of you for being on that floor ๐Ÿ”ฅ

Most of us have been coaching competitive CrossFit athletes for a decade or more. Most of those athletes aren't lazy or unmotivated. But a lot of them are throwing everything at the wall and hoping something sticks. And that's why they're in the same place they were a year ago. EP 051 of the MPC Podcast breaks down why CrossFit athletes stop improving and how to fix it. Comment FIX and we'll send you the link.
