We’re thrilled to announce the newest cohort joining our PROPEL Associate Programme — a dynamic initiative supporting artists to develop bold ideas, create new work, and grow their creative practice.
Over 20 months, our associates gain access to rehearsal space, mentoring, and opportunities to showcase their work, all designed to help bring exciting live performance to life.

We are partnering with Welsh National Opera to offer a variety of activities suitable for all ages, including behind the scenes workshops, face painting, crafts and book swaps!

We are proud and excited to share today that we have been announced as a partner in National Theatre Nationwide - a landmark new initiative designed to boost access to theatre across England.
Speaking about the partnership, Michael Ockwell, Chief Executive of Mayflower, said:
“We are delighted to be partnering with the National Theatre on this new nationwide scheme, which will ensure high-quality theatre is accessible to the people of Southampton. As part of this scheme, we will first present The Last Wild at Mayflower Studios, which will be ideal for family audiences and primary school-aged children. We look forward to working with the National Theatre and are excited by the opportunities that this partnership will offer.”
The partnership will also see a major National Theatre main stage production with the original cast come to Mayflower Theatre in 2028.
