Flashback Friday vibes. Reposting an FBF post from one of my most longtime friends from the LBC and all-around incredibly talented humble human of a being —Sublime's own DJ Product.
This throwback is from one of the many legendary ASR (Action Sports Retailer) trade show parties I produced during the heyday of MayDay Productions.
Fun trivia factoid: at the time, DJP wasn’t yet behind the tables with Sublime—he was actually spinning the V for G’Punk legends (hed) p.e., a band I produced countless shows with. I introduced Product to Wesley Geer, former guitarist for Korn and a founding member of (hed). They were floating the idea about adding a live DJ to the mix, and I said I knew the perfect perp for the job. Fast forward some 30+ years later, and in one of lifes most awesome full circular moments, DJ Product is still crushin’ the 2x2s to this day and time not missing a beat rolling all around our blue marble with his familia Sublime!
