Maya Nur is a visual artist and photographer whose practice navigates the fragile, often contradictory terrain of girlhood and womanhood through deeply personal yet widely relatable imagery. Drawing from her experience growing up between Belgian and Turkish cultures, her work explores themes of identity, cultural tension, and intersectional feminism. Moving fluidly between staged and intuitive photography, Maya critically engages with representation and societal expectations, using her work to question dominant narratives while highlighting the diverse realities of womanhood.
Reid+Factor is a collaborative photography duo formed by Margaret Reid Boyer and Jodie Factor. Their work, blending conceptual inquiry with felt experience, explores the relationship between subject and object in photography, and the power dynamics of gender performance. Their project explores themes of objectification, agency, and perception, using photography as a tool to reclaim active subject-hood. Through paired or mirrored bodies, their images capture moments of vulnerability, tension, and care, emphasizing how women witness and support one another.

To ensure these vital stories resonate all year long, we are launching a series of Artist Features on our website throughout 2026.
