Depuis quelques jours, une œuvre monumentale de l’artiste Maya Rochat est visible au centre-ville, sur la façade du bâtiment Manor. Elle a été installée par la Ville de Lausanne pour mettre en valeur les artistes locaux et rendre l’art accessible à toutes et tous. Dès aujourd'hui, le 7 mai 2026, la Ville présentera officiellement cette installation et lancera un appel à projets pour la prochaine œuvre. Les artistes suisses ou actifs en Suisse peuvent participer jusqu’au 31 août 2026. L’installation a aussi été un défi technique en plein centre-ville, avec un travail en hauteur et une organisation précise. «C’est un travail physique intense, qui demande une grande précision», explique Alan Charansol, project leader chez Vertical Access. ➡ Une nouvelle œuvre sera installée au printemps 2027 Vidéo: Laurent Kaczor – Ville de Lausanne.

Dialoguer avec le vivant. 🐚 « Hybridations fertiles » explore les multiples formes de rencontres et d’entrelacements entre humains, non-humains, savoirs et temporalités. 🌿 Le.la visiteur.se est invité.e à investir l’espace, à s’interroger, à entrer en connivence avec ces artistes, chercheurs.euses et designers, et à tenter, comme elle.eux, de dialoguer avec le vivant en sortant de l’anthropocentrisme — cette idée selon laquelle lʼêtre humain serait au centre de tout — pour reconnaître aux autres espèces une forme dʼintelligence, dʼagentivité, et renouer avec elles des liens sensibles. 🦄 « Voici le paradoxe : pour contribuer à un futur qui assure le soin des humains, il faut transformer notre anthropologie philosophique dans une direction où on ne s’identifie plus dʼabord comme des humains. Color is a tool of connection 🌈 My images migrate, mutate and reappear. Scale changes. Function slips. This instability is intentional. It keeps the works alive. Portable artwork. ARTWORKS ARE EXPERIENCES 🫧 The process starts with a painting, that I scan and print, revealing how an organic visual language draws. ⚡️ DESTRUCTION IS CREATION Using a cutter blade, I sculpt into the surface, transforming a two-dimensional image into a three-dimensional experience. Each piece exists somewhere between painting, photography, and sculpture. 🌪️ FORM AND FIX During framing @davel_14 the works are sculpted and stabilised into visual experiences that shift with light, space, and the presence of the viewer. 🌚🌝 LIMITED EDITIONS These processes result as well in editions, printed on various surfaces and papers.
