Der dritte und letzte «Digital Saloon» dieser Saison wird von der in Beirut ansässigen Grafikdesignerin und digitalen Künstlerin Maya Chami gestaltet. Neben ihrer gestalterischen Tätigkeit ist sie auch im kulturellen Bereich aktiv: Sie erstellt Animationen für die Bühne, organisiert Kunstausstellungen und Auktionen und wirkt an der Herausgabe von Kunstbüchern mit.
Die «Digital Saloons» bieten den Teilnehmerinnen der digitalen Künstler*innen-Residenz «love+byte and drag+drop» eine Plattform, um sich und ihre Arbeit dem Publikum vorzustellen. Erstmals präsentieren sie neue Projektideen, die während der Residenz entstanden sind und gewähren Einblicke in ihre künstlerischen Prozesse, die innerhalb der Residenz angestossen wurden.
The third and final edition of the «Digital Saloon» this season is presented by graphic designer and digital artist Maya Chami, based in Beirut. In addition to her design practice, she is active in the cultural sector, creating stage animations, organizing art exhibitions and auctions, and contributing to the publication of art books.
The «Digital Saloons» provide a platform for artists of the digital artist residency «love+byte and drag+drop» to present themselves and their work to the public. For the first time, they showcase new project ideas developed during the residency and offer insights into their artistic processes initiated within the program.
