One of my most technical landings to date, featuring a mandatory double carve through obstacles and terrain. There's no warming up for this one, you just have to nail it on the first go.
Made possible by Petra, Mutant and @mydiveskydiving , giving me the freedom to dream up and fly my own line, full power.
This was our hillside campsite nestled between mountain peaks during the second leg of the @mydiveskydiving launch. Right-hand carve downhill past the campers, followed by a sharp left-hand carve uphill, landing on a narrow path with a rocky dropoff if you go long or off the side.

In October 2024, I met JJ just a couple weeks after setting some distance records at Worlds in South Africa, flying Petra and Mutant. After taking me Moustache flying, he very quickly convinced me to build myself some parakite risers for Petra to blow those records out of the water.
In November we started working together in Thailand and in December the materials we ordered had arrived. After a few days of tinkering, I had built a working prototype and spent loads of time dialing things in on the ground. Then off we went!
The six ring RDS helped the canopy open beautifully and the release system was buttery smooth. I made some small but significant tweaks between each jump and by number 5, we tried flying together with him in the wingsuit. I ended up doing 10 test jumps on the system but I never felt confident enough to land it. JJ was a parakite ninja, so naturally he hooked up his VK 67 and landed it first go!!!
It was a super fun experiment but I really think that to take full advantage of the Parakite riser system, we need to have a wing built specifically for it. Given the opportunity and resources, I'd love to continue to improve what we made. It's been one year since JJ first landed the Parakite Valkyrie, or "The Valkenstache" as he called it. I miss you my friend.
Just wrapped up an awesome week in China doing some canopy coaching and camera flying. Even snuck in a moustache session on the beach!! What a cool crew of jumpers, they all made me feel very welcome and their hospitality was next level. See you all next time 🤘🏻
2025 stats! 🤓 This year was quality over quantity. A few setbacks resulted in my slowest year in the past decade in terms of jump numbers but some amazing opportunities led to a few of the most memorable jumps of my life.
Looking forward to more MUTANT swoops, Broncos stadium demos, backcountry jumps and spontaneous skydiving trips with friends.
