Today marks the beginning of a new chapter in my academic career! As many of you know, I successfully defended my doctoral dissertation last December. Iām elated to share that following my PhD studies, Iāve been rehired by the university to serve as a lecturer for the music department, where Iāll be teaching Intro to Music Production for the Spring 2026 semester.
Looking forward to the fun teaching adventures ahead!
Pumped to travel to Houston this weekend for three choreographed performances (1/23 - 1/25) of "let it ring" performed by @musiqahouston and @noblemotiondance at @matchouston ! I've never had professional choreography set to my music, so this is a really fun first for me. Plus, I'm excited to spend some time with @musiqahouston , with whom I had a composer-in-residence position from 2019-2020. This score-follower clip features audio from the piece's premiere performance by @hubnewmusic back in 2024. Also on the program, you'll also see live visuals translated from brain wave data! Whoa!
