Who Really Cares - TV Girl (Blue and Black Splatter Vinyl)
Man oh man, I’m back. Let’s kick off the return with this lovely album. Who really cares is an indie album that touches on the topics of romance and sex (or the lack there of) and the consequences it brings (or the lack there of). TV Girl are master samplers, blending their sample and melancholy vocals creating an ethereal environment. I’ve been into TV Girl for a while now and this was the first taste that I got from them. I enjoy the color variant of the album as well, with its blue and black splatter print. Overall this is a good album but may leave you feeling more important than everyone else.

Bastard - Tyler the Creator (red vinyl)
Bastard is an interesting album to say the least. You see Tyler starting to get his sound which can either come across as creative and goofy or just strange. The lyrical content reflects the edgy confused teenager that Tyler was at the time. There’s some good tracks on here and there’s some that are not my absolute favorite. Definitely an alright album but makes you appreciate the growth of Tylers sound.

Fly or Die - N.E.R.D (translucent red vinyl)
N.E.R.D is one of my all time favorite bands. Shout out to Pharrell and the Neptunes for their incredible production. Their first 3 studios albums are some of my favorite albums in general. Fly or die is loaded with creative hits and shines with its originality. Check it out!!

Diana Ross Presents The Jackson 5 - The Jackson 5
Been looking for this on wax for some time and finally found a copy. Luckily I found an orange print. This album has a warm and nostalgic listen to it. Great singles, but the full listen through is what captivates me the most. Just an absolute classic for the collection

Back to back Yeek posts let’s goooo!!! I just got this in the mail after waiting about half a month for it to ship. This is limited to 300 copies and is my first cassette in the collection. This stands to be my favorite Yeek album and is a very nostalgic listen. Check it out!

IDK WHERE - Yeek (Orange Splatter Vinyl)
This was one of if not the first vinyl in my collection. I’ve been a huge fan of @imyeek since the 9th grade and when he dropped this EP I instantly bought it. This is a limited print of only 250. I think the vinyl itself is just beautiful, and the EP is always a good listen. It’s a great EP and i recommend checking Yeek’s older and newer stuff. He’s always been a favorite of mine. Listen to “Watch me” off his newest album Valencia and tell me it ain’t bangin.

Navy Gangs - Navy Gangs (Blue Mini LP)
I initially found Navy Gangs through a Current Joys playlist with the song Special Glands. I instantly fell in love with the sound of this EP. I recommend this to any of my indie fans, you won’t be disappointed. This vinyl is visually really nice with some cool artwork on the out side and a blue colored vinyl. I didn’t know it was colored so I was pleasantly surprised. Check these guys out they deserve more listeners!

Man Alive! - King Krule (CD)
I’ve been a fan of King Krule for quite some time now. I enjoy all of his studio albums but Man Alive sticks out to me as being the most well rounded and audibly crafted album of his. The void rock sound draws you into this liminal, purgatory like state. This album hits a certain chord in my body that can just give me a deep hole in my chest. This stands as one of my favorite indie albums and I recommend this to those checking out King Krule for the first time.

good kid m.A.A.d city - Kendrick Lamar (Transparent Vinyl)
Just picked this up today. There’s not much I can say about this album that hasn’t already been said. It stands to be one of my favorite rap albums and in my opinion one of the greatest rap albums ever made. The album front to back has an incredibly vivid story being painted to you and the track list is next to legendary. This is one that all rap/hip-hop lovers need in their collection.

This is one of the first vinyls I bought for myself so in turn one of the first vinyls that started this collection. A nostalgic listen through and I still find this album to hold up well and be enjoyable.

Case Study 01 - Daniel Caesar CD
My favorite aspect of this CD is the see through sleeve that adds visual depth. Overall a solid album production wise, and of course Daniel Caesar crushes the vocals. Very smooth and relaxing. But be weary listening to this when you’re sad, it’ll catch you.

Evil Empire - Rage Against The Machine CD (UK Import)
I didn’t get into Rage until I found this album about a month back. I’ve liked the track killing in the name since seventh grade so they were a familiar name to me. But I ended up hearing the opening track of this album “People of the sun” on a playlist and instantly fell in love with the sound. This is a delightful listen through and I recommend this to punk/alt rock fans. These guys are absolutely nasty.
