One year ago, I went to Brighton to play The Great Escape Festival, one of my first shows after putting out my first EP.
It was one of the first times the project really existed outside of the studio.
Spike Gonzo @beingspikegonzo filmed those few days before we could pretend we had a plan. The shows, the waiting, the city, the band, and all the stuff that usually disappears once the tour is over.
A year later, TGE asked me to come back as part of First Fifty.
Been sitting on this one for a year and we were meant to share it yesterday, but it didn’t feel right after the tragic events on Brighton Beach. Thinking of everyone affected.
