I’ve got a different haircut to most let’s be honest 🤣
It took a little while for me to get comfortable with it, no question…but over time I realised my hair doesn’t define who I am as a person; not in the slightest. How I treat other people is what’s important and valued much more.
To anyone out there struggling with little imperfections, you aren’t alone. Just know it’s a journey to become comfortable with who you are, but once you embrace those things about yourself that are maybe a bit weird and abnormal, others will too 😊💪🏼
1. Something is better than nothing.
Showing up for years beats random bursts of motivation and perfection every single time, show up even if you aren’t setting records that day.
2. Recovery is everything.
Sleep, stress management, and rest days determine how well your body actually adapts and grows, the training you are breaking the body down, the recovery is where you grow back and see the results.
3. Master the basics. Compound movements, knowing your macros (protein, carbs and fats), daily movement outside of your gym session, and hydration will trump all the fluff like juice cleanses, random diets and crazy complex movements.
4. Progressive overload.
Your body only changes when you gradually demand more from it over time so track your numbers and improve upon them.
5. Your lifestyle becomes your physique.
Your habits outside the gym shape your body far more than any single workout ever will…be mindful of how you’re treating your body and what you put into it from food to alcohol to drugs.
PUSH SESSION (SAVE & TRY ✔️)
Tip: notice how controlled I am especially during the eccentric phase of each movement. This is intentional, don’t just fall but control for a much effective feel and focus on the target muscle 💪🏼

3 MUST DO CORE EXERCISES ON THE BAR 💪🏼
1. Knee raise
2. Side to side knee raise
3. Leg raise
Tip: contract as much as you can at the top and control as much as you can on the way down, avoid swinging ✔️
Very lucky to have the beautiful people in my life 🍀 🥹❤️
Can’t decide which video I like more: Remo with the frame or Portia coming off the chair lift 😅

AI may be able to generate a false sense of reality and achievement, but nothing beats consistently doing the work, especially when no one is there cheering you on 👊🏼
