Tremendous result of an impromptu jam session between Max&Andrew from Populette’s fame and our own Remain in the former Bushwick located Throne Of Blood studio - proper Ali Baba’s Cave of Synth&Gear - DISCOMFORT then crossed the Atlantic several times getting production momentums in Paris and NYC till it ended up being that leftfield dancefloor killer, full of Max’s Minimoog’s and ARP2600’s sound design commas, Remain’s shady drums & bass patterns, and Andrew’s crazy vocals that you guys know !
The remix crew is a standout A-Team incl. CHLOÉ and her typical signature sound, M_Nus & Items&Things’ stalwart TROY PIERCE’s and his massive production skills, and last but not least Barcelona’s MARC PIÑOL’s raw sound and synth arpeggios we all love so much 💕
Originally released in 12’’ vinyl and digital versions all carefully designed by MEANT’s arts master MODSKE, DISCOMFORT then got licensed into countless compilations and artist’s mixes including TSUGI’s BEST OF ELECTRO, TRAX CD Selection the Month, MIXMAG EP of the Month etc etc…
