We are ready to announce that the second edition of the 𝐓𝐞𝐡𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐨𝐬 podcast series starts this 𝐒𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝐎𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟏𝟖𝐭𝐡, 𝐚𝐭 𝟏 𝐩𝐦 𝐂𝐄𝐓, with our first guest 𝐃𝐚𝐯𝐨𝐫 𝐋𝐨̈𝐟𝐟𝐥𝐞𝐫.
Together we will explore his “deep futurological” approach to the history of abstraction, layers of generativity, and the role of computation in a technological civilization in the making—his involvement with German accelerationism, the role of the Outside, and the possibility of not merely speculating on the posthuman but scientifically grounding it. Or in Löffler’s own words:
“𝐼𝑓 𝑡ℎ𝑖𝑠 𝑖𝑠 𝑡𝑟𝑢𝑒, 𝑡ℎ𝑎𝑡 𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑟𝑒 𝑖𝑠 𝑎 𝑚𝑎𝑡𝑟𝑖𝑥 𝑜𝑓 𝑝𝑜𝑠𝑠𝑖𝑏𝑙𝑒 𝑤𝑜𝑟𝑙𝑑𝑠, 𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑛 𝑖𝑡 𝑚𝑒𝑎𝑛𝑠 𝑡ℎ𝑎𝑡 𝑤𝑒 𝑐𝑎𝑛 𝑓𝑖𝑛𝑑 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑠𝑡𝑟𝑢𝑐𝑡𝑢𝑟𝑒 𝑜𝑓 𝑤ℎ𝑦 𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑠𝑒 𝑤𝑜𝑟𝑙𝑑𝑠 𝑎𝑟𝑒 𝑒𝑚𝑒𝑟𝑔𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑛 𝑤𝑒 𝑐𝑎𝑛 𝑎𝑠𝑘 𝑤ℎ𝑎𝑡 𝑐𝑜𝑚𝑒𝑠 𝑎𝑓𝑡𝑒𝑟 𝑡ℎ𝑒 ℎ𝑢𝑚𝑎𝑛? 𝐓𝐞𝐡𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐨𝐬 is a series curated & hosted by 𝐌𝐚𝐤𝐬 𝐕𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐜̌𝐢𝐜̌ (@maxksx ) that dives into mediation through the lens of computation and information processing, asking how these evolving techno-logics are reshaping our shared reality—and what conceptual tools we might use in response. The goal of the series is to have an actual conversation—not an interview, but a discussion, a confrontation with what the guests are saying, live.
Everyone is welcome to join us on Zoom to participate or simply tune in and enjoy the discussion ➜ 𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐝

🐚 Davor Löffler is a philosopher and sociologist exploring the intersections of technology, anthropology and cultural evolution. Author of Generative Realitäten I (2019) develops a systems view of abstraction and the co-evolution of technological, social, and cognitive structures—currently extending this “deep futurology” toward the meta-anthropic stage of civilization.
“The psychotic doesn’t destroy the world to defy the Other, but to upgrade the mirror.”
I was finally ready to open this chocolate bar. To find in it my essay “The Intelligence of The Outside”.
What kind of intelligence is extreme paranoia or paranoic delirium, the concept of Miroslav Griško? What kind of relationship to the Other it fosters, how it survives in a hostile universe where paranoic intelligence can never fully exist?
“The intelligence of extreme paranoia operates in the realm of the Outside. In Lacanian terms, this exclusion of the Other corresponds to foreclosure – the structural hallmark of psychosis. [...] Because, in psychosis, the unconscious addresses the subject directly, dreams are not merely libidinally charged images in which the Other enjoys on the subject’s behalf; they are, first and foremost, visions of what is on the far side. These images of the other side, then, constitute the psychotic subject, turning them into a witness to their own creations.”
There’s a story there, so make sure to buy the book @llamourt

As part of Fall/Winter 2025-26 Season, we present our Seminars "Psychotic Acceleration" by Maks Valenčič @maxksx . The Scholarship Applications for our Certificate Program is open until August 26!
In this Seminar we will look at the concept of Psychotic Acceleration, a theoretical synthesis of Nick Land’s accelerationist philosophy and Lacanian psychoanalysis, by positing that psychosis is the structural register of acceleration itself. Unlike neurosis, which anchors the subject within symbolic law, psychosis begins with foreclosure: the exclusion of the paternal signifier that destabilizes meaning and opens the subject to the enigmatic force of the Outside. Across four sessions, participants will explore how key accelerationist concepts like intensification, cold empathy, and machinic desire emerge from this psychotic structure, offering a radical framework to systematize accelerationist thought beyond traditional philosophical and political boundaries.

This week on &&& Tripleampersand, we share with you “Sinthome as a Subject” by Maks Valenčič @maxksx , by exploring how Lacanian psychoanalysis opens the way for thinking a subject that is no longer grounded in representation, narrative, or symbolic coherence.
The piece traces how Lacan’s late concept of the “sinthome” as a unique and untranslatable kernel of singularity allows us to understand subjectivity beyond traditional models of the unconscious or the ego, shifting the focus to a subject as structural inconsistency, one that ties together the Real, the Symbolic, and the Imaginary without being reducible to them.
A subtle and concise reflection on what remains of the subject when language breaks down, this piece contributes to a wider project of rethinking theory after the death of critique.

Psychotic accelerationism has come from ex‑sistence to existence—thanks to the amazing team at @new_centre and their drive “to fulfill the mission of the new.”
Extremely grateful for this opportunity and, at the same time, ready to wreak some havoc on the accelerationist scene.

My essay "What are intensities?" is finally out! Thanks to @aksiomaorg for all their help and patience. Don't let the title confuse you — this isn't about Deleuzian intensities, but about how they relate to psychotic accelerationism. The opening quote, with the help of Bing, should make that clear:
"The speed at which we traverse reality remains tied to the enigma of psychosis."
In the text, I combine Deleuze’s metaphysical interpretation of differential calculus with the unique status of the psychotic subject, exploring its relationship to intensification, the outside, and the distinctive form of knowledge characteristic of psychotic epistemology.

TEHNOLOGOS#1: Wolfgang Ernst
Having been academically trained as a historian (PhD) and classicist (Latin Philology and Classical Archaeology) with an ongoing interest in cultural temporalities, Wolfgang Ernst grew into the emergent technology-oriented "German school" of media science. His academic focus has been on archival theory and museology, before attending to media materialities. Until his retirement in October 2024, Ernst held the Chair of Media Theories at the Institute for Musicology and Media Science at Humboldt University in Berlin. His current research covers "radical" media archaeology as method, epistemology of technológos, theory of storage, technologies of cultural transmission, micro-temporal media aesthetics and their chronopoetic potentials, and sound analytics ("sonicity") from a media-epistemological point of view.
