In Defense of Being Messy. For years I’ve had to deal with all sorts of people - friends and colleagues (you know who you are)- telling me how messy my work area is - my desk, my timelines, etc. But the mess is the key! It has a wisdom of its own. Learn to listen to what it wants to be and figure out your own process for finding the statue inside the marble. It’s endless and takes time (and has no regard for deadlines or vacations) but it’s well worth it. If you plan something too tightly, too far in advance, you leave no room for the magic 🪄
I’ve been wanting to put these thoughts down for a while, and @logitech gave me a good excuse to finally do it.
