Here is an excerpt of a ‘journey-song’ inspired by the current project I am working on:
> Flag trees are Trees in the polar regions that are mostly twisted due to fierce winds and the harsh environmental conditions. Also Trees in these landscapes are growing quite small and mostly ‘on the ground’.
I tuned into the feeling of being the tree, being torn, twisted and shaken by winds, water, snow, blizzards-
And developed some sounds on the basis of this. Each track of this piece has a defined little story-

A little insight from a piece I am currently working on for @polares_land with the @icelableipzig
I am really glad for this cooperation and it lets me dive deep into the feeling of polar regions and their own distinctive feel-
Rough landscapes, fierce weatherconditions, the need of animals to adapt: developing diverse shapes, behaviours, signals …
This as the View out of my favourite working spaces,
Close to the Elsterbecken in Leipzig. The rainy day definitely accompanied the mood for rough regions and weatherconditions. I consider this quite beautiful. I am always fulfilled when it rains..

I remembered how I liked to fall asleep as a child:
I loved listening to the rain fall gently, and also when my parents had friends over and they sat in the kitchen and I heard their faint voices talking an laughing, accompanying me to slowly slipping into a deep slumber.
I took these elements to create a soothing lullaby recreating this feeling for an ideal slipping into the night world.
