This Wednesday (11/5), from to 5-6, I’m playing a solo set to the beautifully chaotic parking lot in front of @chicorymarket . It’s part of their happy hour where you can get a dollar off drinks and hang out from 4-7.
I’m going to put out a tip jar for The Pantry because, with the government slashing of SNAP benefits, they’re going to need it pronto.
Come by, have a drink, take a load off, see you soon.
Next Wednesday!!! I'll be laying it down on bass with the boys in The Great Dying. Come out! Drunken Prayer will also be throwing down. August 20th @ Proud Larry's 8pm 🕗

Said goodbye to my darling companion, Brutus, this week. She was eighteen and only cancer could kill her. She was usually on my lap while I worked and wrote, but only if I wore jeans as she scorned all other fabrics. She hated guitars, vacuums, cats, dogs, and children. She once punched a baby. She was the meanest, orneriest cat when I met her, but, over the twelve years she lived with me, she sweetened up. An indoor cat yet a natural hunter, moles would sacrifice themselves to her on the screened-in porch. She made so much eye contact it was uncomfortable. She was the smartest cat, but her kink was licking plastic bags. These last few spring months, we’d hang out in the yard, where she’d stay close, chew weeds, flop and roll on the driveway. Tough to the end. A legendary feline.
