A few more weeks of classes and I learned a lot, this time I forged a ring for my wife from 1 piece of silver. Designed to offset the diamond over the second finger.
When designer @maxidny and content creator @withkro found a 3,500-square-foot ground-floor apartment in SoHo, it was listed for sale. Instead of buying, they asked to rent it with one condition: they could do cosmetic renovations. The owner agreed, and what followed was a transformation that turned the space into a live-work studio tailored to both their careers. @julia.cancilla takes us on a tour inside at the link in our bio.

Maximilian Eicke and Irina Kro Eicke's SoHo apartment is a snapshot of a space in motion. The couple has renovated homes in Bali, Sag Harbor, and Southampton, but this rental is the culmination of years of experimentation. Maximilian, a German-born designer who runs @maxidny , brought his archive of prototypes and salvaged materials. Irina, a stylist and content creator known as @withkro , brought her eye for texture and color. Together, they've created a 3,500-square-foot live-work studio that does everything: hosts dinner parties, doubles as a product showroom, provides backdrops for brand collaborations, and still feels like home. At the link in our bio, @julia.cancilla takes us inside.

Silversmithing is always something I wanted to learn but never took the time… it’s about time I did… loving to learn the fundamentals.
