Tommy Speed is about my story, but there are so many more stories about dwarf athletes to tell.
Born out of a conversation with @lucyawesomepower , I want to use Tommy Speed - our upcoming movie about my training for @officialwdg2023 - as a vehicle to benefit more dwarf athletes.
I had the privilege of training for and traveling to Cologne for the games, but most little people don’t get that privilege.
We want to change that, so today we are kicking off a fundraiser for Dwarf Athletic Association of America @daaanationalgames .
The idea is that this fundraiser will help DAAA send more athletes to the 2027 WDGs in Australia.
For every dollar donated, 0.70 will go to DAAA and 0.30 will go towards production costs for Tommy Speed.
