Ballots arrived today for Washington State residents, and I’m not wasting any time. Proud to cast this vote.
Yeah, I live in Washington State, where Harris is polling 22 points ahead. My vote still matters, especially down the ballot. Even if you live in a safe state for your preferred candidate, get out there and vote like your life depends on it.
I’m not just voting for Kamala Harris, I’m also voting for the next Supreme Court justices, preserving the Affordable Care Act, and ensuring there is a 2028 election. The last Trump presidency is why Roe was overturned among other things, I ain’t going back!

Induction cooking is awesome. I’m never going back to gas or conventional electric.
The element itself generates no heat, just a magnetic field so the pot itself creates the heat. This makes induction very efficient and responsive, and it allows for these parlor tricks.

I found a fish market near me so I figured, why not? Standard ahi tuna and salmon over rice. I followed a pretty basic recipe for the sauce, and it came out pretty good! Feels like it’s missing something though, but that’s for attempt two.
Served with a seaweed salad on the side. I don’t think wakame was the best seaweed choice, but it’s what I have on hand.

Tried to make that breakfast soap again as I wasn’t happy with the last batch. This time I used less oatmeal and coffee. I think it came out a lot better. Plus that lather, wow!
Recently got into soap making. This batch is what I call my Breakfast Soap. Why? It’s laced with oatmeal and coffee grounds. Both are known for their exfoliating properties. Even smells like oats.
