So much love for this company of Marcel on the Train. Endless gratitude to everyone who came out to support a world premiere and made us feel like the luckiest folks in NYC. Thank you to Marshall and Ethan for writing such a beautifully brilliant show, and a big grateful hug to Jill and everyone at CSC for giving us a shot.
Who knows what’s next for this train, but we took a big swing, and I couldn’t be more proud of what we created. Also, meet your heroes!! You never know, they might have a play for you to produce.
If you were wondering how we’d follow up our shows about injury attorneys and robots falling in love, let us present to you a play about a mime. On a train. In World War II.

Eternally grateful to Deadpool for helping me and @brohitgo make it to the Tony Awards safe and sound. We couldn’t have done it without him.
Oh, and Maybe Happy Ending won Best friggin’ Musical!!!

Over the last year, at 28 years old, I learned I like beets.
Now, I’m 29, and I love beets, and I also get to continue to do what I love in ways that are surreal, challenging, and joyful.
But most of all, I’m grateful for all the wonderful people in my life.
One week since we closed Cellino v. Barnes, so here’s a little retrospective on the last 9 months of this adventure.
None of it would have been possible without our brilliant creatives, designers, actors, co-producers, investors, the staff who showed up every day to keep the show running, and the wonderful friends who joined the ride along the way. I also want to extend a massive thank you to everyone who came to see Cellino v. Barnes - your support means more to me than you could ever know.
On a final note, producing a show is joyous and hard, and continuously running a show for over 260 performances is intense, but we kept people employed and audiences happy. What more could I ask for? And hey, guys - Good Legal Job ❤️
I may be 28-and-a-half now, but if you love what you do, you’ll never feel a day older than 27.
And big shoutout to my rockstar cousin @cvulandes for (most of) these absolutely awesome photos.
Maybe Happy Ending is open on Broadway, and I’m overjoyed to be here with my buddies.
But also, please tell your friends because a new original musical that holds every aspect of the art to the highest standard is rare and needs a place on Broadway - just so we know what’s possible.

A week ago, we opened @cellinovbarnes , my first Off-Broadway play as a lead producer with the other half of Mix and Match Productions, @mitchm109 .
Producing CvB has been one of the most formidable experiences, but it’s also been a joy-filled process and worth every second to watch @sirwestaytay and @alexjwyse create a production of @daverafailedes and @mikebbreen ‘s hysterical play. This goes without saying, but @theericwmorris and @noahweisberg are genius actors, and I hope everyone gets a chance to see their bromance in action.
I also want to highlight the dedicated group of theatre artists working behind the scenes — from design to stage management, press, advertising, general management, and everything in between. These folks deserve so much credit for helping us complete this sprint of a process. And a special shout out to @davidpochapin and @cameron_koffman , who invited me in over a year and a half ago and are the reason this show was ready for this step.
And most of all, let’s hear it for the family and buddies who believe in you and stick by your side, no matter how wacky the idea.
Anyway, we’re currently running 8 shows a week through October 13th. Let me know if you’re coming - I’d love to say hi!
P.S. Peep Savta’s painting on my shirt ❤️

One month since we lost Savta. It’s been surreal and grief is weird.
In her honor, my brothers and I are starting a new tradition (and feel free to join!). On the 3rd of every month, we’re going to create something — it could be a painting, 8 measures of a song, or even a journal entry - because if Savta was still here, that’s exactly what she’d be doing.
Today is incredibly bittersweet. I am very happy to announce Cellino v. Barnes, an Off-Broadway play written by @daverafailedes and @mikebbreen that I’m lead producing with my business partner, @mitchm109 , and directed by the geniuses @alexjwyse and @sirwestaytay , opening this July for a 12-week run at AsylumNYC.
I am also extremely sad to say that my grandmother, my Savta, passed away this afternoon. She spent her life making art, inspiring me to take chances and pursue a career in the theater. I’ll have more to say about Savta and her remarkable life at a later point, but right now, this post is to celebrate Cellino, a career first, and to honor the person who inspired me to achieve it - I know how badly she would’ve wanted to be at our first performance.
Anyway, I’ll really need to laugh this summer, so come hang out at AsylumNYC starting July 23rd
