We couldn’t fit everyone on the first line-up. Bombay Jungle had more residents and a universe of weekly DJ’s during its short-run, and a world of clubs that followed. We’ll be exploring more of these in 2026. Forwards.. 🚀

1995, Kudos Watford was a top bhangra venue in 90s hosting all bhangra bands, was packed out every gig with people from all over UK, coaches parked all over the place. Epic line up for this one. Malkit Singh still headlining gigs all over the world is truly special. DJs Maximum NRG with our good friends Casbah and Xzecutive.
Since the early 80’s @dave_swindells has been documenting London’s most influential club and rave scenes. As @timeoutlondon Clubs Editor from 1986 - 2009 he captured the style, pattern and energy of Bombay Jungle at The Wag Club in early 1994.
Images and footage of Bombay Jungle are incredibly rare (we were too occupied with DJ-ing and handing out flyers) so we’re thankful to everyone who documented our space.

Balwinder Safri was the ultimate bhangra vocalist in 90s and Safri Boys smashed any gig they played at. Will be greatly missed at Desi Live event on 04May. Dont worry we got the Safri fans covered that night and no doubt our boy @djvixdnb will drop the Safri bangers in the after party. Legend will never be forgotten. #SafriBoys
