Max Sinàl opens Soul Quest Records’ 2026 run with Healing EP, a four-track release across deep house, broken beat, soul, and garage-rooted rhythm.
Each track reflects a different chapter in Max’s life, moving through reflection, fatherhood, isolation, and recovery. “Reflection” brings warm Rhodes chords and trumpet from KingCrowney, “Maya” pays tribute to Max’s daughter with a tougher garage-influenced rhythm, and “Alone” moves into broken beat with mournful vocal sampling and detailed percussion.
The closing title track, “Healing,” reunites Max with Liv East after their 2025 track “Intentions,” and it brings the EP toward acceptance without pretending the process is finished.
With over 25 years behind the decks and deep roots in East London’s pirate radio history, Max Sinàl sounds fully locked into his lane here.
