As I get over the last few symptoms of my holiday bout of Covid, I am looking back through my camera roll to jog my memory of all of the highs and lows of 2021.
Here, one of the many high’s of 2021. Some pictures of the magic I got to experience about 7 short weeks ago: Venice. If you haven’t been, add it to your list. A stunning city with whimsical charm at each turn. Thankful as always for the life I have and the people in it.
Happy New Year everyone!
Sitting around a table with close friends on December 31st, I made the resolution for this new year to be more mindful in my consumption in many ways. One of which, was being mindful in what I consume digitally - something I think we should all try harder to do. - -
The last time I posted a picture on Instagram was almost two years ago. I stopped when I realized that the only reason I was taking so many pictures was to post them online. I fell out of touch with capturing memories for the sake of capturing memories and felt like I was living my life for those in my "digital community." - -
The photos that I post from this point on are pictures that I took for me in a way that I like with no intention of sharing them beyond my own eyes. They are unfiltered, unedited, and posted and taken with little thought.
