Nothing beats the feeling of pinning on a number in new team colours! 🟦🟨⬛️ It was really exciting to have my first outing for @drag2zero at the K4/10B. It’s always been one of my favourite local courses with @banburystarcc , and it didn’t disappoint. I crossed the line in 2nd place, losing out to a flying Sam Martin—huge ride by him! More importantly, the legs are finally starting to find their snap. I’ve still got some positional and equipment tweaks to dial in, but the trajectory is looking good. After 18 months away from racing, it felt incredible to finally pin a number on again last night at the WOTG Club 10. It was also my first outing for team @drag2zero — a proud moment for sure! In classic style, I went out of the blocks feeling like Superman... only to find the “Kryptonite” waiting for me in the final 2 miles. I faded hard, but managed to hold on for 2nd place. 🥈 A massive chapeau to @sam_martin08 , who was absolutely flying and totally wiped the floor with me! It’s been amazing to watch his progression over the last couple of years. 🚀 Lesson learned: Pacing is a thing. Spring riding is officially here, which means we’re all playing the “how many layers do I actually need?” game. Friday 13th was a proper one — in the wind tunnel at Silverstone Sports Engineering Hub alongside Max Belcher working with Lee from the British Army Cycling TT Race Team 🇬🇧 When it comes to time trialling, there’s nowhere to hide… it’s you, the clock, and how efficiently you can move through the air. We spent the session fine-tuning Lee’s full setup, with a big focus on his custom British Army #Project TT skinsuit from @kalas_sportswear Small positional tweaks, different configurations, and plenty of data — all aimed at squeezing out those marginal gains that make the difference. Brilliant to see the level of intent and professionalism — every detail matters at this level. So happy to officially announce our partnership with @ribble_cycles I’ve loved working with the Ribble team in the past, so bringing them into the @kalas_sportswear family feels like a natural next step. I spent Thursday in London for the launch of the @ribbleoutliers Team, and the energy was electric. This roster is stacked with talent, and it was great to meet everyone behind the scenes. One incredible cause. 🚴‍♂️💨 I’m excited to share that this past Saturday, Team @kalas_sportswear officially completed the @headforchange - 828 24hr Challenge at the Geraint Thomas Newport Velodrome. It was an exhausting but exhilarating experience. Together, our team covered approximately 870km, pushing through the night to support the vital work being done by Head for Change. The Results: Distance: 3,477 laps (~870km) Raised: £1,160 (and counting!) The atmosphere trackside was brilliant, and it was inspiring to see all the teams pushing their limits. Huge thanks to Head for Change for hosting such a well-organised event. Finally, a massive thank you to everyone who donated and cheered us on.
