Our flesh cannot understand,
Our minds cannot perceive,
But our hope can bring faith.
The hope of salvation is the seed that brings forth faith in God and the understanding of his work through Christ Jesus.
To begin to understand the works of God,
one must first realise there own sorrowful state,
the corruption that none of us are free from,
the hopelessness of our flesh.
Once you have realised that there is no hope in the world, nor in your own doing,
you can start to see, that what needs to be done for us
is out of our hands,
and hope can only be placed on the hope that there is a creator,
and that we can only hope for the mercy of salvation through the one that formed us,
and that through our Gods doing we may be made worthy for an end to suffering.
Once the humility of our state is accepted, and hope and understanding come, then we shall find faith.
