This lot is washed with a double fermentation, producing a cup that balances traditional Colombian richness with a modern, jammy complexity. The sweetness of stewed plums combine with aromatic florals, before finishing with a silky, chocolate mouthfeel that lingers long after the final sip.
An exquisite and vibrant coffee produced by Aley Calderón at Finca Villa Betulia. Following in the footsteps of his father, the renowned Luis Aníbal, Aeley represents the next generation of a family legacy dedicated to rare varieties and experimental craft.

NEW COFFEE ALERT 🚨 Introducing ‘Iwan Putra’.
This delicious Indonesian has jammy stone fruit notes in the cup with a distinct vanilla finish. It’s the direct result of Iwan’s hands-on passion, his vision for quality, and his commitment to his entire farming community.
Based in Atu Lintang, Iwan’s operation is truly a family and community effort. Along with running his own small farm, Iwan is the central figure for 440 local smallholder farmers, purchasing their highest quality cherries. His wife, a local teacher, and their two children are also part of his life in the Takengon Mountains.
Iwan’s success is built on an extremely strict tolerance for cherry selection, only selecting the ripest and highest quality for processing. He personally oversees the processing at his wet mill and drying tents, ensuring every step meets his high standards.
