We did it! Breaking and setting records for the largest food can mosaic and flag, totalling 100 000 food cans that are already on their way out into communities in CPT and Jozi, along with over 120k sandwiches and tons of fresh chopped veg. Proud to be part of such an extraordinary team whose tenacity and months of hard work made it all happen! Although we only reached half of our R3m fundraising goal, which would cover Ladles organisational costs for nearly two months. It’s Mandela Day World Record time again! This year we are going for the worlds biggest ‘food can mosaic’ (CPT) and ’food can flag’ (JHB) simultaneously on Monday! Over 100 000 food cans between the two!
Tickets to ‘help build’ are almost sold out in both cities - but you can sponsor/donate food cans that will go into the structures at R100 for 5x cans on Webtickets. Our goal is to raise R3million and we are still around the R1mil mark - we need your help!
