Remembering John Arthur Brabham (Jack) on his 100th Birthday. World Champion, Engineer, Pilot, Legend
Sir Jack Brabham AO, OBE
In 1948 Jack Brabham won his first Motorsport accolade - 1948 New South Wales Speedcar Championship. A pioneer of Motorsport and engineering, Jacks time at Coopers delivered 2x Formula One World Championships. Sensing change and in collaboration with Ron Tauranac, Motor Racing Developments was born and in 1962 thirty years of Brabham F1 commenced.
Jack retired from Formula One in 1970 with 3x Formula One World Championships and left a Team legacy in Brabham Formula One that would go on to win more World Championships in the ensuing years.
