Received a new pair of gloves a couple weeks ago from @outdoor.lanon As I know everyone loves trying new gloves (at least it’s the most common question I hear), I wanted to point these out and share a few initial thoughts.
I’d compare them to Temres / Showa fishing gloves, but warmer and better grip feel. After using them for a couple months, I can say they “climb well” but do not hold up to “rope work”.
As far as fit, for me they size like Temres gloves. I used the sizing chart and found it accurate - I’m large in both.

Quick tuning technique I picked up from @shamelessshaemus at @mwv_icefest last year: 2” Roloc Conditioning Discs paired with Milwaukee M12 Right Angle Die Grinder. I put together a little travel kit, including some spare parts, and after a year of use I’m quite happy with this set up.
Contrary to popular belief, these pads do not heat the steel and/or change the temper. However, they do make quick work returning dull points to razor sharp blades.
I haven’t tried this with a drill or dremel. If you have, let me know how it works. 🤘🏻
