Since cementing himself as a favourite commentator on Gogglebox, weâve had unique and unparalleled access into Matty Fahdâs life by way of his living room.
Fahd, 36, first allowed us into his home in Sydney in 2017, alongside his now-wife Sarah Marie, 36, and best mate Jad Nehmetallah, 38, as part of the cult show that sees ordinary Aussies discussing whatâs on the television.
Following the arrival of his eldest son Malik, 3, who has been melting hearts since his first appearance on the show as a breastfeeding newborn in 2019, the latest addition to the Fahd family, four-month-old baby Lyon, has made his debut in the current season.
âWeâve essentially got our home videos on national TV,â says Fahd of the expansion of his family. âItâs a real privilege, and weâve got these moments captured forever.â
At the link in the bio, Fahd opens up about how fatherhood has changed him, being ârealâ on social media and the blessing that is two healthy children after pregnancy loss.

Over a meal, I often like to ask Malik random questions, to better understand how he thinks about the world. He always surprises me and gives me a good reminder of whatâs important to him. The reality of being working parents, who are often working weird hours and from home is that there are blurred lines between what is âworkâ time and âplay lâ time and being intentional with my quality time with him is so important to how he views me and the world. What questions do you ask your kids?
