EDIT: The fosters’ owner was able to come back to Austin! We dropped these guys off at Austin Animal Center and started their happy reunion!
Foster dog update: Icy and Bonnie have been the easiest house guests. They’re completely house-trained, good on a leash and with kids, and just generally very sweet. Please reach out to me or hit the link in bio to share with friends! These pups are going to be a great fit for the right house.
I think this is the first time I’ve had a house with a yard during a city council race? Glad to have moved into @cmchitovela ’s district this year so I can vote to keep supporting pro-housing policies (among other things) on council.
I met him briefly through a mutual friend a while back, before the campaign, and can vouch he’s a great representative for all of D4, and I would love to see him continue to get to work with @joseforatx , @paigeforaustin , @cmzoqadri and others on what I think has been a very effective Council. (And would love to see @mikesiegeltx get to join them.)
Today was full of nature’s splendid mystery: two bees in a squash blossom, from seeds I got at the public library; my first harvest at the new place; and why did my kid throw her broken bike helmet into the bushes, where I found a whole dang hackberry growing through it??? Truly, creation is a gift☀️
