Big thanks to my great friends Juan Tomás Díaz and Paola Rainieri for opening their home in Punta Cana and hosting a reception alongside Concordia during last week's inaugural Horizon Summit. An unforgettable evening filled with great people and true Dominican hospitality.
I had the privilege of interviewing my great friend, former President of Colombia Ivan Duque, at the February Palm Beach Chamber of Commerce breakfast this past week at The Breakers.
President Duque has been a supporter of Concordia since day one, so interviewing him always feels like a full circle moment.
Timing could not have been better to hear his perspective on opportunities and challenges in the Americas. We had an engaging conversation centered around the state of US - Colombia relations, the future of Venezuela, and the importance of protecting the Amazon Rainforest.

Our 2026 Concordia Team Retreat brought us together to align on where we’re going, how we work, and what it really means to convene our community. From vision and coordination workshops to honest conversations about culture, systems, and strategy, this time together helped us reset and refocus for the year ahead.
We’re leaving Colombia more connected, more energized, and more committed than ever to building the future of Concordia.

Our Director of Programming is on the ground in Punta Cana to visit the W Hotel, where the Concordia Horizon Summit: Dominican Republic will take place this February.
Her visit is focused on preparing the environment for an off-the-record gathering of senior voices from government, business, and finance to discuss the forces reshaping security, markets, and investment across an increasingly interconnected world.
