Huge congrats to @shai , for being named MVP AGAIN — come see him throw down tomorrow for Round 3 game 1, Church of Thunder. We will have @chosenjuanco slinging tacos starting at 5:30PM, tipoff at 7:30PM and then stick around for @mattravis and the @thesportsanimal for the post game show — all in the taproom at @livelybeerworks .

While sitting on the beach and thinking about the vastness of the ocean (and my relative slightness), we saw a humpback whale several hundred yards out breach about five times. I figured, “what incredible luck.”
Turns out, whales hold a special place in ancient Hawaiian culture as family guardians. Some even think that they embody the spirits of our ancestors. To think that @rachelravis has a whale protector watching over her (and our baby) from the ocean is a really touching thought.
Kauai is a special place and I’m glad I got to share it with the love of my life.

💔 Piper passed peacefully today with us at her side. I’m fortunate to say this is the hardest thing I’ve ever experienced. But it doesn’t make it any easier. A true angel and friend who loved everybody she met — everybody! — so hard. Rest up girl, and while this stings like hell, I’m glad you’re not suffering anymore.
