Recap vom Rennwochenende auf Paul Ricard: Frühes Aus in Le Castellet, aber ein starkes Zeichen gesetzt 💪 Nach einem schwierigen Start ins Wochenende haben sich unser Fahrer @mattis_pluschkell und @maks_angelard als Team deutlich gesteigert und sich mit Platz 9 eine Top-10-Startposition gesichert. Im Rennen hielt sich Maks in der hektischen Anfangsphase souverän raus, bevor ein unverschuldeter Unfall das Rennen leider schon nach wenigen Kurven beendete. Das Ergebnis spiegelt nicht das Potenzial wider, was in den Jungs und diesem Rennwochenende gesteckt hat. Tough weekend in Paul Ricard… I struggled coming into the weekend and didn’t had the pace to fight at the front, but together we managed a strong turnaround by Saturday thanks to our great teamwork. A top 10 in qualifying was a positive, but unfortunately we couldn’t show our potential in the race after being caught up in a massive crash in lap 1. Phew… a day to forget. 😔 Our driver @maks_angelard unfortunately lost the pink BWT LMP3 #8 on the kerb in the chicane on the back straight. To make matters worse, he was then taken out by a competitor who completely lost control of their car under braking and hit us almost without slowing down. An unfortunate ending, but that’s racing. A huge thank you to all of you for the phenomenal support! We’ll shake it off and come back stronger. Our next target is our season highlight: the “Road to Le Mans” on June 12. Have a great time, we’ll see you in Le Mans! /// Puh... ein Tag zum Vergessen. 😔 Unser Fahrer Maks Angelard hat den pinken BWT LMP3 #8 leider auf dem Kerb in der Schikane auf der Gegengeraden verloren. Zu allem Überfluss wurde er dann auch noch von einem Konkurrenten abgeräumt, der sein Fahrzeug beim anbremsen komplett verloren hat und nahezu ungebremst uns noch erwischte. Ein unglückliches Ende, aber das ist leider auch Racing. Ein riesiges Dankeschön an euch alle für den phänomenalen Support! Wir schütteln uns kurz und kommen stärker zurück. Starkes Debüt im Michelin Le Mans Cup 🇪🇸🏁 Gelungener Einstand für Mattis Pluschkell auf dem Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya: 👉 Platz 5 im Qualifying nach einer richtig starken Runde 👉 Top-10-Finish im Rennen trotz schwieriger Bedingungen Über das gesamte Wochenende zeigte Mattis eine klare Entwicklung und starke Performance. Gemeinsam mit Teamkollege Maks Angelard arbeitete sich das Team Schritt für Schritt nach vorne und konnte den Abstand zur Spitze deutlich verkürzen. Im Rennen bewies Mattis vor allem Ruhe und Konstanz: Trotz Verkehr, Safety-Car-Phasen und strategischer Herausforderungen blieb er fehlerfrei und brachte das Auto sicher in die Punkte. Fazit: Ein sehr positives Debüt mit viel Selbstvertrauen, wichtigen Learnings und einer klaren Richtung für die kommenden Rennen.
