Here we go again! Take a look at the official teaser for @homestead.series season 2!
I’m so proud the team for elevating this round of world building and leveling up the look and story! It’s only the beginning! 🎥 The full season will drop later this year! 👀🚀
@angel
That’s a wrap on Homestead Season 2!
Spending nearly four months in Utah at the start of 2026 will easily stand as one of the highlights of the year. Across 47 days of principal photography, sometimes running two units, and through unpredictable weather, we captured something truly special.
Thank you @bensmallbone and @andrea__royer for leading the charge and shaping this season.
Thank you @jwsteadicam for having my back all season and stepping up to DP second unit.
Shoutout to the entire camera department. Losing a member of our crew unexpectedly was tough, but the way everyone came together, supporting each other, standing in the gap as needed, and bringing light into a difficult moment, meant a lot. We grew closer through it, and that goes beyond anything we put on screen.
The Homestead team has been one of the most distinct crews I’ve had the pleasure of working with. I’m grateful not just to serve as DP, but for the relationships and friendships built along the way, despite the challenges filmmaking brings. Truly blessed I get to do what I do. 🎥
Here’s to wrapping @homestead.series S2 our best season yet. 🍻 @angel
In memory of @singerimgs ❤️
Third year in a row filming in Utah. Endless skies and landscapes that make every frame feel alive. Grateful to be here. ❤️🎥

With Homestead Season 2 underway, it felt like a good time to share more selected frames from Season 1.
Ep.4 : That Which Death Carves Away
@homestead.series@angel
Shoutout to Stunt Coordinators Doug Coleman, @chrisreidnthings , and SFX Team, RoundyFX @ryan_roundy for making Ep 4 so much fun to shoot.
One of my bigger challenges was to figure out how to make shooting at high noon in the summertime feel right for the story while also feeling cinematic. I played those specific scenes warmer in camera, implemented as much depth as possible, and shot with a 230p Arri Impression filter. Ultimately I leaned into what nature was already giving, which was heat and that seemed to line up well with the overall look for the series. The Summer days in Utah were scorching, but I feel like we still managed to capture some pretty cool scenes. Ep 4 is currently streaming on Angel’s platform.

I find so much joy in sharing frame grabs from the projects I’ve had the privilege to DP. Framing a shot and finding the art in the moment is genuinely therapeutic. It’s an escape from everything else and a chance to build worlds through story.
Homestead brings its fair share of challenges, but every one of them feels worth it when I look back at what we were able to capture. And I have to say, the Salt Lake City crew is unreal. The look of the show wouldn’t be what it is without them. They really are the secret sauce. Grateful on so many levels. 🙏🏼🎥

Homestead Season 1 is officially complete! Excited to share the hard work every single person put into this round of filming. MASSIVE Thank you to my camera and G&E team! You all showed up through some of the hardest days at the hardest locations and it shows on the screen. Thank you so much for being stellar! 🎥🚀
There’s something special about the quiet space between jobs and projects. I’m learning to enjoy these calm days before life accelerates again. And really, it’s impossible to be too serious when you’ve got a mustache going. Stay joyful. Stay silly. 🥸❤️
